My partner is Kaja, and she lives in the suburban. Her family lives in a small flat, but it’s nice! With the bus it will take us 45 minutes to go to school.

This first morning we could sleep a little longer. Luckily, because yesterday was an exhausting day, we had a long trip. In the morning we had to make a presentation. It’s about the oldest pharmacists in Europe. It wasn’t that interesting, but still okay. We also had a guided tour on school. I have held a snake in my hands in the biology department. After that we were going to Ljubljana, and the teacher told us about the city. It was a long way through the city, but interesting. After this we went to a castle, a really beautiful one. And the viewing was fantastic. That was nice. In the evening we were eating in a pizzeria, it was very good. After that we ate an ice-cream together and we were going home. It was a long, exhausting day.

5.45 Very early. Kaja and I went to school with the car. We had an excursion to Stajerske, we were going to see Mitreji and Ptuj. Mitreji wasn’t very interesting, but that because of the rain. After that we were going to a city, and we visited a church, it was really beautiful. We had lunch too in that city, and the chocolate milk was very good. After this we went to Ptuj, a spring of mineral water. There were presentations and we had our lunch. Later we went to an old pharmacy in Olimje, I didn’t like the outside of it, but the inside was interesting. I had to do my presentation here. And we went to the church, we got there information. And there was a chocolate shop too, and I bought something for my family there! It smelled adorable there! We went home after this, and we went to a club, that was really nice. A really long day, but it was interesting.

This day we had to be at school around 8.35. We were going to Bled. I liked it very much, that view and castle were so great. After this I had a talk with Kaja, and we solved some problems we had due to misunderstandings. After this the bus took us to Begunje, we visited a war museum. That was really interesting and really impressive. I really think that was a good thing, to visit the war museum. After visiting Begunje, we went to an old castle. That was really nice, we were like little children. We climbed on everything. Later in the noon we went to a museum about Kropa, the woman who told us, told that really interesting. Then we were going to a blacksmith, that was really interesting. After this we went to Tjasa, Louise’s partner. We had a picknick there, it was really nice, and everybody liked it. We stayed there until 23.30.

Sunday was family day, a little scary. We could sleep longer, that was nice. At 11.00 we went to the shopping centre. It was very big, I bought some cards there. After this, we went to Kransjka Gora, a beautiful place with mountains and rivers. First we had to pick up a friend of Kaja, she wanted to go with us. And she knows the place better than Kaja and her mother do. I liked the mountains because there was snow on it. Normally I didn’t see the mountains and lifts without snow, so that was really cool. We lunched there. The little rivers were very cold and very blue, really nice. After this we went to a place where a big ski jump is. That was so huge, really impressive. Then we visited a place with water, and the lake was really blue. I liked that. We were going home after that, but first we were going to Ljubljana, we ate an ice-cream. And we walked through the city. The weather was very good. In the evening Kaja and I met Pia and Sofie, we had a great time with the four of us. We laughed and Sofie and I tried a new drink, Lemonade! That was really good. When Kaja and I came home, I mailed my family. At 00.30 I was going to sleep.

Now I am writing this. Today I had to wake up very early, around 5.45 because we had to take the bus around 6.35! I arrived at school around 7.15 and Kaja and I had to wait 45 minutes. Around 8.45 I had a lesson English. It was a little weird, because everyone was looking at me. But it was interesting. After the lesson we had to go to the computer classroom, where we had to write this review. That day we also had to make homework, I think that wasn’t a really good idea, because we were all tired and outside it was very warm. Then, we went outside and we were watching the exam students. They danced and had speeches. After this, there was a basketball dunking group. And Matic, from the exchanging group, was participating the group. It was very nice to see. After school, everyone went home, and around 4 we met. We went swimming until 8. It was very nice, because we were laying in the sun. Then almost everyone of the group went to the city. And we had a drink I a very romantic bar. We went to bed around 00.00.

A very early morning again. I had to wake up around 5.45 because we had to take the bus around 6.35. I was at school around 7.15. So I had to wait very long. But around 7.45 Louise and Tjasa came. The Slovenian people had to go to the class, except a few. So we went to a supermarket to buy a lunch. This day was a day for only the Dutch students. The bus arrived at 8.45. We were going to the caves. The caves very beautiful and it was really interesting. After this, we went to Lipiza. A small city with a lot of horses. Then we went to a city near by Lipiza. And we went to the Ferrari garden. That was really nice, we made a lot of pictures. We went to school after this. We were all very tired, we were all sleeping. All the exchanging partners met each other in the city. We had a dinner at the Tai. That was very nice and the food very hot. After dinner we walked trough the city and ate an ice-cream. After eating an icecream the group went to the castle again and we enjoyed the view by night. When we came home, I packed my luggage.

The last day. We all met in the city around 10. We had a free day and we shopped all day long! I bought a cute dress and jacket. And a lot of presents for my family. After shopping, we had a lunch with the teacher. It was very cosy and we had a lot of fun. After lunch we’ve had only 1.5 hour left. We ate an ice-cream with the group. Then we all met at school around 16.45. We had to say goodbye and huge everyone. It was a sad goodbye. Almost all the girls were crying and some boys too. We laughed at the bus and we talked. We had a great time in Slovenia. I felt very homesick in the beginning, but I overcame it and had a great time!
